Greetings, Ducklings! Another week, another spell chanted from the Dungeons of Programming. Beep Boop Meow!
How's the Dark Occult Arts been?
So far, so EVIL I think, Ducklings. I've spent some more time in the #PondLair carefully crafting a new spell for S.A.M; It's by no means finished, but I'm starting to get the basic structure of it down so I can work on the details later.
More specifically, I've begun looking into the high-level use of our EventManager and how it can connect to listeners and other objects in the Game's Scene.
So what's your plan on fleshing out this spell's circle?
Ah, EVIL question! Right now I have some of the folder structures created with both perfected and placeholder spell-codes. I will then be creating a more detailed version of the system structure you all saw last week for myself to better understand and plan out how the managers, game objects, and files should all be connected (or not connected) to each other.
Once I feel my detailed structure is relatively Good-proof, I'll be able to translate my plan into tangible work in the Game Scene!
Anything else, Master of the Occult?
Not this week, Ducklings. I spent a lot of my time reading and comprehending existing files and Unity concepts so I could better set up the base system structure. However, I'm definitely expecting some more tangible work to take place in the following weeks, so stay tuned for more updates from the #UnderLair!
